On the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC) organized a series of activities in response to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month (OSH) such as the "Thank You to Workers" Program and "Creative Labor Festival" in 2025.
The "Thank You to Workers" program has organized a thank you program for 120 union members who are employees, service workers, drivers, service workers... overcoming difficulties to excellently complete the tasks introduced by the trade unions of units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. At the "Thank You to Workers" Program, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 120 gifts to workers (each gift includes 2 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 750,000 VND); awarded 10 scholarships worth 2 million VND/scholarship to workers with outstanding achievements in studying and training.
Creative Labor Festival honors and rewards 17 young teachers and scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific research and technology transfer in 2024; awarded the 2024 Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 teachers...
In particular, the trade unions of the units have focused on practical care for the material and spiritual life of cadres, teachers and workers (CBNGNLD). Accordingly, review and propose welfare benefits, mobilize all resources to care for employees. As a result, 28 units organized visits and gave gifts to 663 employees in difficult circumstances and serious illnesses with a total amount of nearly 1.4 billion VND; 22 units organized welfare programs organized by the union for 5,023 employees in Workers' Month 2025 with an amount of over 1.2 billion VND.
