According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF), from November 17 to 21, the Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor attended many important events of the province, including the meeting of the Party Executive Committee, the National Front Congress, a thematic session of the People's Council and a meeting of the Election Steering Committee, and at the same time directed the Grassroots Trade Union Congress (CDCS).
The Vice Chairmen and members of the Standing Committee participated in directing the grassroots trade union congress, the conference to summarize anti-corruption, consider commune meeting new rural standards and training on the Border Law for the period 2021-2025.
The activities of directing the Trade Union Congress approved documents and attended 515/549 grassroots trade unions across the province, allocated delegates and deployed careful preparation for trade union activities.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also contributed to the draft Regulations on decentralization of cadre management, reported to the General Confederation of Labor on rearrangement of houses and land, assignment of cadres to study online on labor safety and attended the handover ceremony of the "Union Shelter" house.
During the week, the Provincial Federation of Labor issued a decision to recognize the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of grassroots trade unions for the 2025-2030 term for 24 units, dissolved 13 grassroots trade unions and guided the implementation of revenue and expenditure settlement before dissolving.
On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 37 union members in the education sector in difficult circumstances with a total amount of VND 18,500,000, and continued to inspect, classify grassroots union activities and remind them to collect union funds according to regulations.
