On November 20, the Trade Union of LEFASO Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company held its 2nd Congress, term 2025-2030. Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) attended and directed the Congress.
During the past term, the Company's Trade Union has performed well the function of protecting the legitimate and legal rights of members and employees and comprehensively cared for 3,056 union members, of which 2,170 were Khmer ethnic people, ensuring policies for members and employees.
The Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to raise salaries periodically and suddenly for union members and employees and promptly resolved 2,001 sick leave, maternity and health benefits with a total amount of nearly 8 billion VND, ensuring legitimate and legal rights for employees.
Dip Luan has promptly advised and coordinated the payment of nearly 46 billion VND in salaries and bonuses and more than 3 billion VND in Tet gifts to all union members. At the same time, improve working conditions, have regular health check-ups and implement social welfare of more than 1.4 billion VND.
Entering the new term, the Trade Union aims to maintain 100% of workers as union members, and annually introduce 810 outstanding union members to the Party, of which at least 50% are Khmer ethnic people.
Every year, the Trade Union supervises the implementation of salary, bonus, and insurance regimes for 100% of employees (3,056 workers) and coordinates with the Board of Directors to ensure stable income, a safe and friendly environment, and no work accidents.
At the same time, 100% of union members have regular health check-ups, emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Good at public work, good at home work" are deployed and organized to achieve positive quality and efficiency.
The Congress elected the new Executive Committee of the new term consisting of 15 comrades, Mr. Cao Huu Trong Bac re-elected the Chairman of the Trade Union of LEFASO Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility of the Executive Committee, the efforts of union members, employees and the leadership and management of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union.
We respectfully acknowledge the close and timely direction and orientation of the Party Cell Committee and the companionship, coordination, support, and facilitation of the Company's Board of Directors, especially the Party Cell Secretary - General Director of the Company for Trade Union activities, ensuring harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Ms. Oanh hopes that the grassroots trade union will continue to receive the direction of the Party Cell and the coordination and better facilitation of the Company's Board of Directors in the coming time, helping the grassroots trade union activities to become better and better.
Ms. Oanh suggested that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union: Focus on caring for the rights of workers, improving the quality of propaganda, promoting emulation movements, developing union members, maintaining solidarity, assigning clear tasks, self-inspection, and evaluating the implementation of the resolution.
