In the past 6 months, the provincial Trade Unions at all levels have focused on effectively performing the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers.
In the past 6 months alone, there have been no collective labor disputes and strikes in the province. In Quang Ninh, 68,475 employees were visited and given Tet gifts with a total amount of more than 53 billion VND; supported the construction of 11 "Union Shelters", disbursed loans to 320 employees in difficult circumstances, a total of 8 billion VND. The Provincial Federation of Labor successfully organized the program "Union Tet Market - Tet Sum Vay" and activities to propagate law, political education, culture, and sports to attract a large number of union members to participate.
Workers' Month 2025 is widely deployed with the theme "Workers pioneer in entering a new era".
The whole province has more than 210 dialogues between workers and leaders of governments and enterprises; 1,182 advanced workers have been honored; 2,787 new union members have been admitted and 21 grassroots unions have been established. Activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers continue to be promoted.
The emulation movement of good workers, creative workers, and outstanding advanced workers has been widely implemented, contributing to improving labor productivity, saving raw materials and fuel, improving working conditions, and building sustainable development units.
In the first 6 months of the year, employees in the province had over 3,000 initiatives, solutions, and topics recognized with a total value of over VND45 billion; 140 projects and emulation products were recognized with a total value of over VND8 billion. Trade unions at all levels have coordinated to select and organize the commendation and reward of 96 outstanding labor collectives and 1,182 outstanding advanced workers.
In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized a ceremony to honor 50 outstanding advanced workers at the provincial level. The movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework" associated with "Women who actively study, work creatively, build a prosperous, equal and happy family" has been widely responded to by female employees. In the first 6 months of the year, over 76,000 female employees have registered to compete for the title "Good at public work, good at home work" in 2025...
In addition, at the conference, delegates discussed contents related to the implementation of the Resolution of the 6th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee on a number of issues to continue to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
At the conference, the leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that Trade Unions at all levels continue to innovate the organization, streamline the apparatus, and improve operational efficiency. In addition to changes in the trade union organization, it is still necessary to focus on protecting legitimate rights, building an increasingly strong team of employees, contributing to the completion of the province's socio-economic development goals.
At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor also commended 16 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing Workers' Month activities.
