On November 23, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) announced that the grassroots trade union of Song Gianh Seafood Joint Stock Company has just held a congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Phan Thanh Lan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; leaders of the Industrial Park Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors.
The grassroots union currently has 173 union members, of which 62 are female union members. The lives, jobs and income of workers are guaranteed, the average salary reaches 9 million VND/person/month; shift meals, overtime, and overtime are fully paid; social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies are strictly implemented according to regulations.
During the term, the Union visited and supported 155 union members in difficult and sick circumstances with a total amount of nearly 340 million VND, clearly demonstrating its role as a companion and caregiver.
In their speech, comrade Phan Thanh Lan and Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Director of the Company - highly appreciated the results achieved by the Trade Union. Comrades suggested that the Trade Union in the coming term continue to pay attention to policies and regimes, especially for disadvantaged workers; promptly grasp the thoughts of union members; promote the movement of "good workers, creative workers"; focus on developing Party members among workers; improve the quality of the trade union staff to meet the requirements in the new period.
With a democratic and responsible spirit, the Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 comrades. At the first Executive Committee Conference, Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu was elected as President; Comrade Phan Le Hoai was elected as Vice President of the Trade Union. The Congress also elected 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Provincial Trade Union Congress.
