During the past term, the Company's Trade Union has coordinated with the Board of Directors to ensure a full salary, bonus, and allowance regime; take care of Tet, major holidays, support union members with serious illnesses, difficult family circumstances... with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND. 100% of workers received Tet gifts; many cases of incidents were supported in a timely manner, helping them stabilize their lives and continue to stick with the business.
The unit also maintains regular and ad hoc dialogues, promptly receiving and resolving dozens of recommendations on wages, working environment, overtime conditions, etc. Thereby, contributing to maintaining harmonious and stable labor relations; during the term, there were no labor disputes or strikes. Emulation movements "Good workers - Creative workers", " issue effectively - Quality - Efficiency", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health" are widely implemented.
Many technical innovation initiatives have been effectively applied, helping to save raw materials, reduce waste in seafood processing, increase productivity and income. Cultural - sports activities and legal playgrounds are maintained regularly, creating an united environment, training skills and improving the spiritual life of workers.
The Congress agreed to approve 15 key targets for the 2025 - 2030 term, demonstrating the determination to innovate trade union activities in conjunction with improving the quality of service for union members and workers. The Congress also identified 4 breakthroughs including strengthening coordination between Trade Unions - enterprises - localities; promoting digital transformation in trade union activities; effectively implementing regulations on coordination with the Board of Directors in caring for workers' lives; and improving the quality of policy consultation, focusing on vocational skills training for workers.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the efforts of the Hoang Long Company Trade Union in the past term, especially in the context of businesses being affected by the market. Mr. Tinh also highly appreciated the role of the Trade Union in caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, ensuring legitimate rights and promoting harmonious labor relations.
The Standing Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that grassroots trade unions continue to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers, improve the quality of dialogue - negotiation, be flexible in care and welfare; promote the role of social networks in trade union communication, create two-way connection between cadres and union members. At the same time, the Trade Union needs to build a team of cadres with strong expertise, courage, innovation in thinking, application of technology and pioneering in emulation movements, contributing to improving productivity, product quality, accompanying businesses in sustainable, stable and safe development.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hoang Long Seafood Processing Company Limited for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 9 members; Mr. Le Quang Trung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union. The Congress also elected 2 delegates to attend the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress.
