On September 3, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee signed a decision to reorganize the Steering Committee for the implementation of social insurance (SI) and health insurance (HI) policies in the province.
The Steering Committee after the tournament has 28 members. Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is the Head of the Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Tu - Director of the Provincial Social Insurance holds the position of Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee.
The remaining two Deputy Heads of the Board are Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs and Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hiep - Deputy Director of the Department of Health.
The other members are leaders of departments and branches of the province.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in directing the implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on social insurance and health insurance; mobilizing legal resources to expand coverage, supporting farmers, poor households, near-poor people, and ethnic minorities to participate in social insurance and health insurance.
The Steering Committee also focuses on promoting the application of information technology in management, connecting population data, and conducting electronic transactions for social insurance and health insurance procedures; strengthening inspection and examination of units and enterprises that owe, delay payment or evade social insurance and health insurance payment.
At the same time, implement solutions to prevent and combat fund abuse when preparing records to enjoy the regime and medical examination and treatment using health insurance; ensure the legitimate rights of employees and people.
In addition, the Steering Committee is also responsible for directing the dissemination of laws on social insurance and health insurance; promoting the implementation of administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal, non-cash payments in the field of social insurance and health insurance; closely coordinating with the Fatherland Front, unions and social organizations in mobilizing and supervising policy implementation.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Khanh Hoa Social Insurance as a standing agency, responsible for advising, coordinating the implementation of tasks, and developing operating regulations for the Steering Committee.
