Accordingly, the "Union Meal" program was organized exclusively for more than 50 employees of Dien Bien Import-Export Trading Joint Stock Company (Dien Bien Phu Ward) on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Each meal is worth 100,000 VND, an increase of 70,000 VND compared to normal. The budget is supported by the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor and Dien Bien Import-Export Joint Stock Company, each unit is 50,000 VND.
With the characteristics of more than 40% of workers being ethnic minorities, mainly Thai ethnic people, the company has personally prepared traditional dishes with the flavor of Thai ethnic identity.
This is not only a material meal but also a deep understanding and concern for the cultural and spiritual life of workers.
This is also the first year that this meaningful program has been organized by the Company after nearly 3 years of operation.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor - said that this is a meaningful activity to care for union members and workers.
"The program is also an opportunity for all levels of Dien Bien Provincial Trade Unions and business leaders to meet union members and workers, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, understanding, building trust and attachment of workers to the enterprise" - Mr. Tan Minh Long said.
On this occasion, the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor presented 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
