On June 7, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation organized the Summary and Award Ceremony of the "Beauty of New Age Women's Labor" photo contest in 2026. This is a practical activity within a series of activities in response to Workers' Month 2026, and also to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
The contest was launched in April 2026 to honor the beauty of female union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the new era - dynamic, creative, responsible women in labor and work, actively applying science and technology, digital transformation and making many contributions to the development of agencies, units, businesses and their hometown of Ca Mau.
After a period of implementation, the Organizing Committee received 289 entries from 17 collectives participating in the contest. The entries vividly reflect the image of female workers in the seafood industry diligently working in production, female teachers dedicated to the cause of nurturing people, female doctors wholeheartedly for patients, female trade union officials dynamic and creative in performing tasks. Many entries are elaborately invested in both content and form, conveying meaningful messages about love for the profession, dedication and aspiration to rise up of women in the new era.
The highlight of the contest is the form of public voting on the Ca Mau Trade Union Fanpage with a scoring structure including 50% professional scores from the Judging Panel and 50% interaction scores from the online community. Many works attracted thousands of likes, shares and comments, contributing to widely spreading the beautiful image of female union members and workers. During the contest, the Ca Mau Trade Union Fanpage recorded tens of thousands of interactions and increased by more than 8,000 followers, creating a positive communication effect among union members and society.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Comrade Ngo Diem Phuc - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest - acknowledged and praised the positive response of trade union levels, union members, and workers throughout the province; and affirmed that the contest is not only an art playground but also a meaningful spiritual cultural activity, contributing to honoring the values and good qualities of Vietnamese women in the period of integration and development.
At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit and bonuses to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. In which, the first prize belonged to union member Bui Kim Be, Trade Union of Hong Phuc Ca Mau General Clinic, directly under Ly Van Lam Ward Trade Union. Two second prizes were awarded to union member Nguyen Thi My An, Trade Union of Ca Mau Urban Environment Joint Stock Company and union member Bui Thi Gam, Trade Union of Song Doc High School. The Organizing Committee also awarded 3 third prizes, 16 consolation prizes and sub-prizes "Photos loved by many people" and "Inspirational photos".
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded a collective prize to An Xuyen Ward Trade Union - a unit with many participating works and outstanding achievements in the contest.
The photo contest "Beauty of female workers in the new era" 2026 has closed, but beautiful images and inspiring stories about female union members and workers continue to be spread, contributing to arousing pride, motivation for labor and production emulation, building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, meeting development requirements in the new period.
