The 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031, has identified many important goals, directions and tasks to build a strong trade union organization, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new period.
For the team of trade union officials in Dak Lak province, the orientations set out by the Congress are not only a guiding principle for trade union activities but also create more motivation to continue innovating and improving the effectiveness of caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Mr. Tran Truong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of Tuy An Bac Commune Trade Union - said that in his role as a grassroots trade union official, he is particularly impressed with the consistent viewpoint of the Congress of taking union members and workers as the center of all activities.
According to Mr. Thanh, in the context of a strongly shifting economy, digital transformation and increasingly deep international integration, workers not only face pressure on jobs and income but also have to constantly adapt to new requirements for qualifications and professional skills.
Therefore, the fact that the trade union organization identifies the top priority as representing, caring for and protecting workers is a correct direction, clearly showing the role of the trade union organization in the new development stage.
What impressed me the most is that to meet the requirements and tasks in the coming period, the Congress set out 10 groups of striving targets; unanimously launched the emulation movement'Good labor, high productivity, good income'.
At the same time, identify 2 breakthroughs, 3 programs, 4 projects and 5 groups of key solutions and tasks to focus on implementation throughout the term. This is a guiding principle for trade union officials at all levels to research, learn and effectively apply to practical operations," Mr. Thanh shared.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Le Anh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province - expressed his belief that the orientations set out by the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress will continue to affirm the position of the trade union organization as a reliable support for workers, and at the same time a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the working class.
From the major orientations of the Congress, I will continue to strive to study, train, improve working capacity, promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and creativity to join Dak Lak trade union levels to bring the Congress Resolution into life.
