Voice of union members, workers:

Need more relaxing playgrounds after work and convenient places to send children

THÀNH AN ghi |

Mr. Nguyen Van Tai (50 years old, working at All Wells Vietnam International Co., Ltd.): For employees to be attached to the business for a long time, there needs to be stability in accommodation.

This is something that workers are very concerned about, especially migrant workers. Therefore, it is hoped that the Trade Union organization will continue to coordinate with departments, branches, and functional units to help workers settle down. For example, creating conditions for workers to rent and buy houses and social housing at reasonable prices; or connecting banks to lend at preferential interest rates, along with other measures...

In addition, taking care of young children of union members and workers is an issue of particular concern, especially for female workers. At my company, about 70% are female workers, and the biggest concern currently is hoping to send their children to a convenient place with a good environment to feel secure in working and producing.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (born in 1987, working at Greentech Headgear Co., Ltd.):

Currently, workers working at factories, most of whom have low incomes, just enough to cover expenses. Besides, the pressure on food, clothing, rice, and daily expenses is increasing, making the lives of workers increasingly difficult.

Therefore, workers also hope that the Trade Union organization and the government will pay more attention to improving and increasing income for workers through appropriate salary and bonus regimes..., contributing to reducing pressure in life.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hoa (40 years old, working at Posco Vietnam Co., Ltd.):

As far as I know, workers working in industrial parks are very lacking in relaxing playgrounds and opportunities for socializing after work hours. Therefore, I hope that in the coming time, trade union levels will organize more playgrounds for workers to participate in and relax after stressful working hours; at the same time, there will be opportunities for socializing, exchanging, connecting and developing more in work.

Ms. Le Thi Bich Le (38 years old, working at Nitori Vietnam Export Processing Enterprise - Ho Chi Minh City Branch):

Chị Lê Thị Bích Lệ.

Where I work, there are quite a few cases of people in difficult circumstances renting rooms; single mothers raising young children. In the current context, life is increasingly difficult for these cases. The concern and support of the Trade Union organization will create a support for workers to feel secure in working and producing, making more products to have more income to improve their lives.
