On January 8, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LDLD) said that the unit has issued a Plan to organize the program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026". The program aims to care for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers, and laborers during the Lunar New Year 2026. At the same time, it contributes to the implementation of the union member welfare program, building the image of the Trade Union accompanying workers.
According to the plan, the program will be held at 3 locations. In which, phase 1 will be held at An Nghiep industrial park, from January 29-31, 2026 (December 11-13 of the lunar calendar). Phase 2 will take place at Tan Phu Thanh industrial park, from February 2 - 4, 2026 (December 15 - 17 of the lunar calendar). The final phase will be held at Song Hau industrial park, from February 5 - 7, 2026 (December 18 - 20 of the lunar calendar).
The main activities will include: Tet Market booth area (from 40 - 50 booths/site); "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program (giving gifts to workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances; lucky draws, folk games, 0 VND booths, giving bus tickets, supporting train tickets to return home,...); care and social security activities (giving 500 - 1,000 Tet gifts/site (expected)).
In particular, at the Trade Union Tet Market, attractive propaganda and cultural activities also took place such as the contest (showing) "Trade Union Year-end Meal"; propaganda about the image of workers, the role of Trade Union officials; propaganda about traffic safety, labor law; art program, photo contest "Workers' Smiles - Spring of Gratitude to the Party".
