Update on regional minimum wage in Tay Ninh from January 1, 2026

Tay Ninh will apply the new regional minimum wage from January 1, 2026 according to Decree 293/2025/ND-CP, as a basis for paying salaries to workers in the area.

Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulates that the regional minimum wage will be adjusted from January 1, 2026 with an average increase of 7.2%, equivalent to 250,000 - 350,000 VND/month compared to the current.

In Tay Ninh, the minimum wage is fixed in four regions: region I is 5,310,000 VND/month, region II is 4,730,000 VND/month, region III is 4,140,000 VND/month and region IV is 3,700,000 VND/month; the corresponding minimum hourly salary is 25,500, 22,700, 20,000 and 17,800 VND respectively.

The Decree applies to employees working under contracts and employers according to the provisions of the Labor Code. The list of localities in each region in Tay Ninh is specified in detail in the Appendix of the decree and is the basis for applying the minimum wage from 2026. Decree 293/2025/ND-CP takes effect from January 1, 2026.
