On November 20, information from the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that the unit had completed the launch of the Thanh Dien Ward Trade Union under the Provincial Federation of Labor. This is the next step to be implemented after the conference to announce the establishment decision, aiming to perfect the organizational model and improve the effectiveness of trade union activities in the area.
According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Thanh Dien Ward Trade Union was established on the basis of receiving 17 grassroots trade unions, with more than 7,000 union members.
The Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 7 members and the Inspection Committee consists of 2 members. Ms. Le Thi Xuan Thu - Member of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Thanh Dien Ward Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
The Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first phase, the Thanh Dien Ward Trade Union will focus on building working regulations, assigning tasks to each member, and gradually operating the model in accordance with practical requirements.
Grassroots trade unions are also oriented to strengthen coordination with local Party committees, authorities and departments; proactively grasp the situation of workers; focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, the unit will promote patriotic emulation movements associated with local political tasks, while continuing to develop union members, improve the quality of union activities at the grassroots level, aiming to build a strong force to meet the requirements in the new period.
