On October 8, the Area Management Working Group No. 5 coordinated with the Reproductive Health Clinic - Family Planning (under the Ho Chi Minh City Population Department) and the Trade Unions of communes and wards in the management area to organize the implementation of the program "For the health of workers" in 2025.
This is an activity organized to take care of the health of female workers in the area, and at the same time celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025).
Thereby, more than 400 female union members and female workers over 21 years old, who have married and have consulted on reproductive health, grasped, recognized and prevented a number of infectious diseases; raised awareness of the importance of caring for and protecting to improve general health and reproductive health in particular...; contents of legal policies on population.
At the same time, female union members and workers received health check-ups, ultrasounds, tests, cervical cancer screening; and treatment for common gynecological diseases.
According to the Area Management Working Group No. 5, through the activities, the welfare program for union members and workers has been effectively promoted; enhancing the role of the Trade Union organization in coordination to care for female union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.
