Ms. H'Huong Ktla, a worker at the Delicious Coffee Company in Cu Kuin District, Dak Lak Province, shared: "From early morning on January 17, I traveled more than 20km to Buon Ma Thuot City to buy essential goods at the trade union Tet market. This year, the goods are sold in abundance at cheaper prices than buying outside and have clear expiration dates. For union members and low-income workers like us, this is an opportunity to shop and help my family have a more fulfilling Tet."
Or like Ms. Y Tren Nie, a union member of Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company, this year received 800,000 VND in cash and some additional gifts from the union organization.
Mr. Y Tren Nie confided: "The support from the parent company and the trade union is a great source of motivation for poor workers, especially ethnic minorities like us."
Receiving support money during the "Tet Sum Vay" occasion, Mr. Y Tren used it to buy many necessities at the "Tet Cong Doan Market" to have a warmer and more complete Tet.
In the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025, Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation will present 400 gifts worth 800,000 VND to union members and workers.
Of which, there is 500,000 VND in cash from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and a gift worth 300,000 VND from the support fund of businesses.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has supported 4 billion VND for localities to take care of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union has allocated and supported 7,211 Tet gifts (VND 500,000/gift) in cash for union members and workers.
