Where workers send their thoughts
Joining the company in the context of a volatile motorcycle parts manufacturing industry, from order pressure to increased input costs, Mr. Sang understands clearly: Only when employees are listened to can businesses develop sustainably. In the period 2023-2025, he and the Trade Union Executive Committee proactively advised and coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize periodic dialogues in accordance with regulations, and at the same time maintain flexible exchange channels when problems arise.
Dialogue is not just a procedure, but an opportunity for workers to speak the truth, say everything and be resolved satisfactorily" - Mr. Sang shared. Dialogue at enterprises has become a substantive channel for workers to reflect on meals, working conditions, allowances... and most recommendations have been responded to, creating consensus and limiting disputes. Trade Union Chairman Nguyen Huy Sang is also prominent in negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers.
That is maintaining and improving the quality of shift meals; ensuring full insurance regimes; supporting vehicles to transport workers far away; or organizing activities to care for spiritual life such as vacations, family festivals, year-end parties... These seemingly "small" policies contribute greatly to retaining workers, helping them feel secure and stick with them for a long time.
Colleagues commented that Mr. Sang is taciturn but listens very carefully. He regularly goes down to the workshop, meets with trade union leaders to grasp the reality, thereby correctly identifying priority issues and proposing timely solutions.
Timely transmission, creating cohesion
He also focused on innovating propaganda methods. The establishment of Zalo groups according to each trade union group helps information reach workers quickly and transparently. From policies and laws to company notices, everything is conveyed promptly, creating trust and cohesion.
In the context of volatile markets, welfare negotiations are difficult, but Mr. Sang still found common ground with the parties, harmonized interests, maintained stable labor relations and built trade unions for workers.
Sharing about being soon praised by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Sang humbly said: "This is not only an honor for me personally, but also a recognition for the entire trade union and company employees. I am proud to be a part of that journey.
Pride is silent but spreading, from hundreds of dialogues, thousands of opinions are listened to, becoming the "glue" connecting employees with businesses.
In 2023, Mr. Nguyen Huy Sang was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Hanoi Labor Federation for his outstanding achievements in emulation movements and trade union activities. In 2024, he continued to be commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and awarded a Medal for the cause of building the Trade Union organization.
