On January 8, a working delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Trade Union Board of industrial parks and economic zones of Lao Cai province visited, worked and presented gifts to union members and workers at T&D Group JSC and BITI'S Lao Cai One Member Limited Liability Company.
At the working session, the working delegation directly grasped the organizational and operational situation of grassroots trade unions after implementing the two-level local government model; and at the same time learned specifically about the number of union members, jobs, income, working conditions as well as the thoughts and aspirations of employees at the enterprise.
The delegation also listened to and absorbed the opinions and recommendations of grassroots trade unions and union members related to difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing trade union tasks, union member development, organizing emulation movements and taking care of workers' lives.
On this occasion, the working delegation presented gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to sharing and encouraging workers to rise up in life.
The activity demonstrates the concern and responsibility of the trade union organization towards workers, thereby creating more motivation for union members to feel secure in working, actively emulation in labor production and long-term attachment to businesses.
