On June 28, the Trade Union of Provincial Party Agencies and the Trade Union of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision to streamline the grassroots trade union organization apparatus; at the same time, transfer 2,426 union members to the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Khanh - Chairman of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union presented the decision on the dissolution and termination of the activities of 19 grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units under the grassroots trade unions of provincial Party agencies;
Awarding decisions on the dissolution and termination of activities of 34 grassroots trade unions under the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Trade Union;
Decision on transferring 20 grassroots trade unions with 2,426 union members under the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union to the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation.
On this occasion, authorized by the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Unions of the Provincial Party Agencies presented the "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union organization" Medal to 10 full-time trade union officials and grassroots trade union officials.
Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Trade Union of Party Agencies of Gia Lai Province Nguyen Tuong Khanh emphasized: "Reorganizing the trade union model is a necessary step to meet the requirements of innovating the organization and apparatus in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operation, while ensuring legitimate rights and interests for union members and workers".
For the units handed over, the Provincial Federation of Labor will promptly direct and support grassroots unions to stabilize their organization and operation effectively.
Thereby, successfully completing assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong Gia Lai Trade Union organization, truly a reliable support for union members and workers.
