On the afternoon of September 14, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish the Hai Duong Ward Trade Union and decisions on personnel work and organization of activities of the Ward Trade Union.
According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, the Hai Duong Ward Trade Union was established directly under the Hai Phong City Labor Federation. The Hai Duong Ward Trade Union has legal status, a private seal and account, operating under the direction of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation according to the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also announced the decision to transfer and assign officials.
According to the Decision, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation term I, term 2025-2030, Deputy Head of the Industrial Park Trade Union - was transferred to work at Hai Duong Ward Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tam was appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairman of Hai Duong Ward Trade Union, term I, term 2026-2030.
At the conference, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also announced decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee and leadership positions of the Hai Duong Ward Trade Union; and at the same time assigned grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation to the Hai Duong Ward Trade Union for monitoring and management.
The establishment of the Hai Duong Ward Trade Union aims to consolidate the trade union organization in the area, ensuring that trade union activities are implemented uniformly and in accordance with the new organizational model.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation - said that Hai Duong Ward has an important position, so the Ward Trade Union needs to soon stabilize its organization and implement the assigned tasks.
At the same time, proactively coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in the area, taking advantage of the direction of the City Labor Federation to effectively implement Trade Union activities.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan requested the Party Committee, government and related units to continue to pay attention and create conditions for the Trade Union organization to operate effectively, perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
