On October 8, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) held a ceremony to establish a grassroots trade union at Tri Duc Consulting - Design Company Limited, Ba Tri commune.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee; Mr. Vo Thanh Binh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Mr. Phan Hoang Dieu - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee.
The grassroots union at Tri Duc Consulting - Design Company Limited was established with 12 union members, the Executive Committee appointed 3 comrades, comrade Dang Quang Vinh to hold the position of Chairman.
The establishment will increase the total number of grassroots trade unions managed by the Provincial Federation of Labor to 654 units. The company currently has 12 workers, with an average salary of 7 million VND/month, fully implementing insurance policies and organizing cultural and sports activities for workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam emphasized that the establishment of the trade union will contribute to improving production efficiency, protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers, and at the same time, it is a condition for the formation of the Ba Tri Commune Trade Union organization.
"The union closely coordinates with the company's leadership to improve labor efficiency, build a friendly working environment and develop sustainably," Mr. Tam added.
