99% of workers are union members
Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai City) currently has more than 40,000 employees, of which the proportion of trade union members is 99.9%.

The Trade Union has become a bridge for harmonious and sustainable labor relations; The regime of rights of employees is increasingly clearly improved; The regime of salaries, bonuses, and income of union members and employees is gradually being improved, and life is stable. The average income in 2025 of employees is nearly 12 million VND/month.


Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the company's grassroots Trade Union said that Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established and officially went into operation from July 1995. Over 30 years of formation and development, from a business with 5,000 employees producing less than 10,000 pairs of shoes per day, to now it has developed more than 40,000 people with excellent skills, meeting the strict requirements of customers to bring to the market more than 120,000 pairs of high-quality shoes per day.
Mr. Dang Tuan Tu shared that in his role as Chairman of the Trade Union of one of the largest workers' companies in Dong Nai city, he always finds ways to take care of the lives of workers better and better, creating a comfortable and happy working environment. From 2002 to now, the trade union has built and repaired more than 200 "Trade Union Homes" for union members and workers with an amount of over 5.4 billion VND. Each year, the company's trade union builds 10 "Trade Union Homes" houses for workers so that workers feel that their workplace is a "happy company".
Also according to Mr. Tu, the company's Trade Union simultaneously deploys 3 "points" to take care of housing. For union members who do not have houses, the trade union has a "Trade Union Home" program; For union members who have money to build new houses, the trade union has a program to "give gifts to workers to build new houses" such as TVs, refrigerators...; For union members who already have houses but are degraded, the Trade Union has a "Volunteer Team to repair houses for workers for free". Through these activities, helping union members and workers connect with the company.
Many ideas and initiatives help workers overcome difficulties
The Chang Shin Family Mutual Assistance Association, an initiative of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. established in 2002, has also supported 421 members (who are union members and employees of the company) who passed away with a total amount of over 93 billion VND; The "Kindness Hands" program was launched and organized by the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. from 2009 to now, the funding mobilized from the collective of employees has supported about 500 union members and employees with critical illnesses to have money for treatment with an amount of nearly 20 billion VND.
In addition, Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. also organizes breakfast for employees, in which workers only pay 4,000 VND. Ms. Doan Thi Kim Loan - Vice Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that this is an activity from 2014 to now. Accordingly, each employee when eating breakfast at the company will only have to pay 4,000 VND/person (deducted from salary), and the company will support 10,000 VND/person. The total breakfast is 14,000 VND/person, applied to all officials and employees. On average, 7,000 officials and employees register for breakfast every day.
In the coming time, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. will continue to maintain and develop the current activities; Focus on educating and raising awareness for union members; Promote timely quarterly emulation and commendation movements to encourage the spirit of union members through activities in the production process, initiatives, work improvement, saving raw materials, electricity and water; Proposing to build kindergartens for workers' children; Building houses, selling in installments to workers to ensure a sustainable and long-term labor force...
