On February 9, the grassroots Trade Union of Lee&Man Vietnam Paper Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to admit union members. Attending was Vice Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation Tran Tu Nhien.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee approved the decision and admitted 164 employees at the company to the Vietnam Trade Union organization, raising the total number of union members to more than 420 people. This is a positive sign, showing the increasing trust of employees in the Trade Union organization.
At the recruitment ceremony, company representatives expressed their belief that through practical, transparent and close-to-workers activities, the Trade Union will increasingly affirm its role, thereby attracting more voluntary members to participate in the coming time.
The company's leadership is committed to continuing to closely coordinate with the superior Trade Union and the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, together towards the common goal of ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of employees; building a stable and harmonious working environment, contributing to the long-term and sustainable development of the enterprise.
