On February 22, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that from the beginning of 2026 to now, trade union levels in the province have simultaneously implemented many activities to care for and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Thereby, continuing to affirm the role of trade union organizations in the new context.
On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the family of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Niem (worker at Cu Kpo Farm) received support gifts from the provincial trade union for the first time.
Mr. Niem raises a disabled child, his wife's income is unstable, so life is difficult. With 1 million VND and essential necessities supported, his family has more conditions to shop and celebrate Tet more warmly.
Mr. Le Van Thanh, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, said that right from the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee directed trade union levels to strengthen grasping the situation at the grassroots level, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members.
In addition, trade union levels also monitor labor relations, the implementation of regimes and policies at enterprises; promptly propose and coordinate to handle arising issues, especially issues related to workers' rights...
In the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to promote activities to care for female union members and workers in difficult circumstances through welfare programs, health care, and loan support; and at the same time replicate models such as "Trade Union Homes", "Thank you workers", "Trade Union Meals", focusing on non-state-owned enterprises and industrial parks and clusters.
Along with that, the unit continues to mobilize support for the Fund to support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to promptly support the construction and repair of "Trade Union Shelter" houses and assist union members in particularly difficult circumstances.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, trade union levels in the province have focused resources on caring for and supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances, helping them celebrate Tet more fully.
Accordingly, the "Tet Sum vay" program is organized in 2 areas with 720 gifts, total budget of more than 510 million VND. The Provincial Labor Federation directly organized 2 programs, awarding 600 gifts, with a budget of 480 million VND.
Tet care activities were implemented for 9,590 union members and workers with a total budget of nearly 12 billion VND.
