According to the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, as of June 2025, the unit is managing 15 district, town and city-level Labor Federations; 6 local industry unions; 2 affiliated public service units and Ban Me Trade Union Tourism Joint Stock Company.
The whole province has 88,454 workers, civil servants, and laborers at agencies, units, and enterprises with trade unions. Of which, 84,122 people are union members, active in 1,824 grassroots unions.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels have closely followed the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, proactively implemented many practical programs, contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
Outstanding activities include visiting and giving gifts to 59,343 union members in difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, and work-related accidents with a total cost of more than 15 billion VND; supporting the construction and repair of 127 "Union Shelters" (reaching 127% of the annual target) with nearly 6 billion VND; supporting 2,060 union members to buy goods through the "Union Tet Market" platform with more than 1 billion VND.
In the past 6 months, trade unions at all levels admitted 3,077 new union members, established 15 grassroots unions at non-state enterprises, and introduced 984 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission. Of which, 235 people have been admitted.
From now until the end of 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on monitoring law enforcement, protecting workers' rights; continue to streamline the apparatus according to Resolution 60-NQ/TW, promote emulation movements and care for housing and welfare for union members.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has also announced the decision to terminate the activities of 21 grassroots trade unions from July 1, 2025; announced the dismissal of members of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee, term XI (2023-2028) due to retirement or job transfer.
The Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization" Medal to 35 leaders and 156 union officials.
Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2024.
