On June 27, Agribank Quang Tri Province Branch (Agribank Quang Tri) announced that Agribank Quang Tri Trade Union had just donated 2 billion VND to support social security programs in the area. This activity is part of a series of activities in response to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister.
The above amount has been received by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province.
Mr. Le Hong Son - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province - said that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual love for the poor.
The total budget for the province's temporary and dilapidated house removal program is up to 607.4 billion VND and 87% is from socialized sources from organizations, individuals, and enterprises, including active contributions from Agribank.
In 2024 and 2025 alone, Agribank Quang Tri has supported a total of 7 billion VND for the program.
Mr. Vo Van Tinh - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Agribank Quang Tri Trade Union - said that this contribution demonstrates Agribank Quang Tri's commitment to accompanying local authorities, joining hands to implement social security programs, aiming to improve the quality of life for people - especially the poor and those with revolutionary contributions.
