On December 22, the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union solemnly held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030 (official session). The congress took place on December 21 and 22.
The Congress was attended by Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and hundreds of delegates representing more than 60,000 union members in the province.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the congress is tasked with evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Trade Union Congress for the period 2023 - 2025; determining the direction, goals and tasks of activities in the 2025 - 2030 term.
According to the report at the Congress, the whole province currently has about 85,000 workers, including 60,446 union members.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to synchronously and effectively implement activities to care for union members and workers.
The focus is on the programs: Tet Sum vay, Trade Union Tet Market, Workers' Month, Trade Union Shelter; visiting and supporting union members in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, or those with serious illnesses.
During Tet alone, trade unions at all levels have spent over 75 billion VND to take care of workers in difficult circumstances.

The program "Improving the welfare of union members" was effectively implemented through the signing of 26 programs, cooperation agreements, and the provision of essential goods and services with incentives from 5% to 20%.
Trade unions at all levels have proactively accompanied workers in protecting their legitimate and legal rights and interests; many new models and creative ways of doing things have been effectively implemented.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union in the recent period. Trade unions at all levels have performed well the task of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
In the coming period, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor suggested many issues for trade unions at all levels in the province to study and implement.
In particular, firmly holding the viewpoint of taking workers as the center, as the goal and driving force of all union activities. All policies and plans must come from the practical needs and legitimate aspirations of union members and workers.

According to the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the provincial trade union needs to do a better job of taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers; each trade union program and activity must bring specific and practical benefits.
The provincial trade union needs to further enhance its role in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. At the same time, promote dialogue, negotiation, signing and effective implementation of collective labor agreements. Thereby, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at the workplace.
The locality continues to reorganize and perfect the organizational apparatus, strongly innovating the content and methods of operation. In particular, accelerating digital transformation of trade union organizations and activities, considering this a breakthrough priority in the new term.
Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; effectively organizing patriotic emulation movements among workers and trade unions at all levels, associated with the task of production and business, innovation, and improving labor productivity, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized.
