Caring for and improving the lives of workers
By November 2025, the whole Dak Lak province will have about 85,000 workers, of which 60,446 union members, a decrease of 68,057 union members compared to the previous period.
In the period of 2023-2025, the program "Improving the quality of negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements" at enterprises, especially in the non-state sector, has been implemented synchronously and innovatively.
Currently, the whole province has 440/534 enterprises with grassroots trade unions signing collective labor agreements, reaching 82%. Trade unions at all levels strengthen coordination in inspection, examination and supervision of wages, insurance, labor contracts and grassroots democracy regulations.

As a result, 384 inspections, checks, supervisions and 127 interdisciplinary inspections on occupational safety and hygiene were organized, helping to detect and rectify violations, and promptly propose solutions to problems.
Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, said: "The shift meal programs, signing of collective labor agreements, and inspection of occupational safety and hygiene have improved the lives and working environment for workers in industrial parks".
The program "Improving the welfare of union members" was implemented through 26 cooperation agreements to provide essential goods and services, with a discount of 520%, bringing benefits to nearly 27,000 union members, with a total welfare value of over 3.9 billion VND.
The grassroots trade unions also coordinated with employers to ensure shift meals, with 232 agreements, with a fee of VND 18,00025,000/meal.
The loan activity from the National Fund for " replacement of Employment" with more than 2.7 billion VND to support 84 union members and workers; the "Mutual support solidarity" Fund has also helped thousands of union members borrow capital, overcome difficulties and develop family economy.

Clearly identify breakthroughs
In the coming period, in order to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities and better care for union members and workers, Mr. Nguyen Phu Lap - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation - said that he has identified breakthroughs.
In particular, the union focuses on innovation, strongly applying digital transformation in activities, especially propaganda, gathering and serving union members, financial management and union member management.
The union will invest resources to develop union members, establish grassroots unions in non-state enterprises and informal labor. At the same time, promote dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on core contents such as wages, bonuses, working hours, rest, safety and hygiene at work.
Mr. Lap emphasized that the provincial trade union strives for 100% of grassroots trade unions in public service units that do not receive 100% of salaries from the State budget and state-owned enterprises, along with 80% of grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector, participating with employers in promulgating and implementing grassroots democracy regulations, organizing conferences for civil servants, employees and dialogues at the workplace.
