And in that difficult time, the Trade Union organization always accompanies and stands side by side as a trustworthy friend and relative, ready to support and share, Mr. Phuoc shared.

Also a victim of a work accident with a disability rate of 58%, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (residing in An Hoi ward, Ben Tre city, Ben Tre province) shared that work accidents not only leave physical wounds, but also create deep mental damage, leading to loss of income, even the career future of workers. In that situation, the Trade Union organization has stood side by side, supported, and brought us faith and hope on our journey to overcome difficulties.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice President of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor - said that currently, in Ben Tre province, there are 173 workers who have had work-related accidents with a disability rate of 35% or more. In early May 2025, the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor directly visited 5 workers directly involved in production who had serious work accidents and were in difficult circumstances in Ben Tre City and Chau Thanh District. In the remaining cases, the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed the district-level Federation of Labor to visit, encourage and give gifts to workers.
Ms. Dung shared that occupational accidents are something that no one wants, but during the working process, especially in heavy, dangerous industries such as construction, mineral exploitation, mechanics, or heavy industry, risks are always lurking. When the accident occurred, the workers not only suffered physical damage but were also seriously affected mentally and economically. In that situation, the Trade Union organization has become a solid support, a place that not only provides material support but also encourages workers to stand up, overcome the incident, continue to live and work.
