The Vietnam Education Union in coordination with companion units has just organized the Tet reunion program and presented gifts to schools, teachers, workers, and students of 4 kindergartens, 4 ethnic minority boarding primary and secondary schools in Tram Tau commune, Lao Cai province with a total amount of nearly 1.4 billion VND. Of which, cash is 514,500,000 VND and gifts and artifacts worth over 800 million VND.

Regarding in-kind gifts, the Vietnam Education Union has built 3 clean water projects, 2 hot water projects and teaching equipment for 4 semi-boarding ethnic minority schools and donated 6 sets of outdoor play equipment to 4 kindergartens in Tram Tau commune; donated 2 alkaline ion water purifiers, and gifts to teachers in difficult circumstances...
Regarding giving gifts to teachers in difficult circumstances, the Vietnam Education Union supported 18 teachers in difficult circumstances, with a support level of 2 million VND/teacher and 130 students, with a support level of 500 thousand VND/student.
The delegation also brought 46 piggy banks, which are savings of students from elementary and secondary schools in Hanoi with a total amount of 175 million VND; in addition, there are many other gifts such as: shoes, toys, books, warm clothes, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, shower gel, confectionery...
In addition to giving gifts, the Vietnam Education Union also organizes exchange activities with teachers and students such as Xoe dance competitions, banh chung wrapping competitions, spring fortune picking, tug-of-war... creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for officials, teachers, workers and students in the Lao Cai highlands.
