In the first 6 months of the year, Ha Tinh trade unions at all levels presented 55,550 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly VND23,372 billion, of which nearly VND14.19 billion was mobilized from socialized sources.
The Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund supported the construction and repair of 88 "Union Shelters" with a budget of 2.535 billion VND (88% of the plan); supported the construction of a teacher dormitory at Cam Lac Primary School (Cam Xuyen) with a total investment of 2.94 billion VND; renovated a dormitory for union members at the Provincial Television with a budget of 667 million VND.
Regarding the establishment of grassroots trade unions and the development of union members, as of May 31, the whole province has newly established 8/40 grassroots trade unions, reaching 20% of the annual plan; newly developed 1,315/5,000 union members, reaching 26% of the annual plan.
Implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus, the Ha Tinh Trade Union has rearranged the Committees under the Provincial Federation of Labor, reducing units from 6 committees to 4 committees; merging the Loc Ha District Labor Federation into the Thach Ha District Labor Federation; terminating the activities of 6 industry unions and equivalent; at the same time, establishing the Trade Unions of the Provincial Party agencies and the Provincial Government Bloc Trade Union.
According to the assessment, in the first 6 months of 2025, the policy of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus has somewhat had a psychological impact, leading to work efficiency not being as expected.
Some important targets are achieved lowly such as: grassroots trade union success rate reaches 20%; Union member development reaches 27%; newly signed 266% of agreements; Creative Labor Certificate reaches 16.6%...
In general, the production and business activities of most enterprises in the area still face many difficulties, the situation of unpaid wages and social insurance contributions of employees still occurs in some enterprises; some employers have not created conditions for establishing and organizing trade union activities....
In addition, the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers in some units is not clear; The coordination in inspecting and supervising the implementation of policies and regimes for workers is not regular, so the rights of workers have not been guaranteed.
In the last 6 months of the year, Ha Tinh Trade Union will promote propaganda among union members and workers to implement the policies of the Central Government and the province on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and the organization of local government at 2 levels in the political system.
Strengthen propaganda of the Party's guidelines and laws of the State related to union members and workers, important political events of the homeland, especially activities related to Party congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030.
Organize patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers, make achievements to celebrate patriotic emulation congresses at all levels, celebrate Party congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030.
Focus on developing union members to establish grassroots unions, updating union member data into union member management software.
Coordinate with employers to take care of the interests and ensure the rights of workers better and better.
