On June 3, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of the Vietnam Peace Tree Organization visited and presented a total support amount of 7 million VND to union member Le Diem Ngoc Trinh.
In the funding presented this time, 2 million VND is a meaningful gift from Party and State leaders and 5 million VND is deducted from the fund of the grassroots Trade Union.
It is known that union member Le Diem Ngoc Trinh is a field staff member of the Vietnam Peace Tree Organization. In April 2026, Ms. Trinh was suddenly diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer and had to undergo surgery for treatment.
Knowing the information, the Trade Union organization immediately sent officials to grasp the situation and implement measures to support both materially and spiritually.
This timely activity clearly demonstrates the role, concern, and close care of the Trade Union organization for the lives of workers, contributing to adding great motivation for union members to overcome illness, soon stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.
