Mr. Le An Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, attended and directed the Congress.
The Congress was attended by leaders and experts of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade; on the side of the School, there were Party committees, Board of Directors, Secretaries of Party cells, heads of units and union members.
With the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, innovation, development", the Congress focused on discussing and comprehensively evaluating the results of trade union activities in the past term; pointing out limitations, drawing lessons and setting specific directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le An Hai - Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade highly appreciated the results that the Trade Union of the College of Tourism and Industry and Trade has achieved in the past term.
In the context of the Industry and Trade sector promoting innovation and improving the quality of human resources, the activities of the School's grassroots Trade Union play a very important role, not only as a bridge between the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and officials and employees but also directly contributing to building a united, professional and creative working environment.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Trade Union hopes that the Executive Committee of the new term of the grassroots trade union will continue to promote a sense of responsibility, innovate operating methods, focus on the grassroots, and take more practical care of the rights of union members, while accompanying the School in improving the quality of training and developing the School's brand in the country's vocational education system" - Mr. Le An Hai emphasized.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade suggested that grassroots trade unions pay more attention to propaganda work, political and ideological education for union members, actively apply information technology in trade union activities, build a strong and comprehensive trade union organization, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of the unit and the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Second tenure, consisting of 5 members, electing 1 official delegate and 1 delegate on a deficiency to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union for the next term.
The Congress passed the Resolution of the 2nd Grassroots Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, with the general goal: "Building a strong trade union organization; performing well the functions and tasks; playing a role as a bridge between the Party, the government and civil servants and workers".
