On October 2, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that officials of the Trade Union Committee of Region II had directly worked with grassroots trade unions in Phong Nha commune to grasp the situation of production and business activities and the lives and jobs of workers.
Specifically, the delegation worked with the Trade Union of Oxalis Co., Ltd. (128 union members), Jungle Boss Co., Ltd. (48 union members) - two businesses specializing in organizing tours to explore the core area of Phong Nha - Ke Bang Heritage.
The content focuses on implementing policies for employees such as wages, labor contracts, collective labor agreements, occupational safety and hygiene, social insurance - health insurance - unemployment and policies for female employees.
In addition, the units were also instructed on the work of collecting and spending union finances in 2025, the work of organizing the 2025 - 2030 term union congress, and handling some contents arising during the operation.
Previously, the working group worked with the Trade Union of Phong Nha Holiday Company Limited (52 union members), the unit operating the green accommodation model towards Net Zero with 3 departments.
