Responding to the online contest "Learning about the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; Resolution of the Lao Cai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025-2030", the Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union has actively participated, creating a widespread impact among union members and workers.
Immediately after the contest was launched, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation issued an official dispatch directing trade union levels to promote propaganda about the purpose and meaning of the contest; mobilize officials, union members, and workers at agencies, units, and businesses in the area to participate in many flexible forms.
At many grassroots trade unions, the content of the contest is integrated into regular meetings; and at the same time, information sharing is strengthened on Zalo groups, electronic information portals and social networks of the trade union organization. The atmosphere of learning and discussing the Election Law, citizens' rights and obligations takes place sôi nổi, nghiêm túc.
Recorded at the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation agency, officials and union members proactively studied documents and exchanged questions before participating in the online exam.
The contest helps us understand more deeply about the election process, the role of the Fatherland Front and the responsibility of each citizen in the great festival of the country," Ms. Huyen Thuy - a trade union official shared.
According to the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, after a short period of launching, a large number of union members and workers throughout the province registered to participate with a high sense of responsibility. Many units achieved a large participation rate, considering this a practical political activity in the trade union system.
Through the contest, trade union levels continue to affirm their core role in propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; raising awareness of citizens' rights and obligations in participating in elections.
This is also a practical activity contributing to preparing good conditions for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term to take place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely and economically.
