
On the afternoon of June 1, the Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting with the delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.
The 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress takes place from June 3-5 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, with the participation of 780 official delegates. The delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union has 13 delegates, representing more than 147,000 trade union members throughout the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation - congratulated the delegates selected to attend the Congress, and emphasized that participating in the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress is an honor and pride for each delegate.

The Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation requested delegates to promote the spirit of responsibility, fully and seriously participate in the contents and programs of the Congress; and at the same time reflect the thoughts, aspirations, and legitimate recommendations of workers and laborers of Nghe An to the Congress.
The head of the Provincial Labor Federation also requested delegates to actively contribute opinions to documents, programs, and operating goals of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new term; introduce and spread effective models and ways of doing things of Nghe An and learn experiences from localities, contributing to innovating the activities of the Nghe An Trade Union in the 2025 - 2030 term.
After the meeting program, the delegation attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress led by Mr. Kha Van Tam visited and directly presented gifts to 2 workers in particularly difficult circumstances who are being treated at Nghe An Oncology Hospital.

The two cases visited and given gifts were Ms. Tran Thi Mao, 39 years old, a worker at Havina Kim Lien Co., Ltd. and Ms. Vi Thi Xai, 40 years old, a kitchen assistant at the Nutrition Department, Hospital 115.
Ms. Tran Thi Mao suffers from recurrent breast cancer, multiple organ metastasis, weak health; her family has been a near-poor household since 2020. Ms. Vi Thi Xai is being treated for breast cancer, her family situation is difficult, her husband has an eye defect, and two young children.
Receiving the concern of the Trade Union organization during illness and difficulties, Ms. Tran Thi Mao and Ms. Vi Thi Xai were moved and expressed their gratitude for the timely encouragement and visits.

The activity of visiting and giving gifts is part of the program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress" implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, to support union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases nationwide.
In Nghe An, through initial review, 446 union members and workers received support from this program. Among them, 68 cases with particularly difficult circumstances were supported with 2 million VND/person; 378 cases were supported with 1 million VND/person.
The meeting with the delegation attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the presentation of gifts to workers suffering from critical illnesses shows the concern and care of the Nghe An Trade Union organization for union members and workers, especially those who are facing difficulties and need to be shared and encouraged.
