On March 7, the Lak District Labor Federation (Dak Lak province) held a seminar to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8 and the 1985 anniversary of Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
At the event, delegates reviewed the history of International Women's Day on March 8, the Hai Ba Trung uprising and reviewed the district's achievements in women's work in 2024.

Currently, Lak district has 77 affiliated grassroots unions with 1,888 union members. In 2024, grassroots trade unions organized 40 propaganda activities on the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies and gender equality education.
In particular, the whole district has 1,025 union members and workers recognized with the title "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly - Permanent Vice President of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged and congratulated the results in women's work that Lak district has achieved in recent times.
She emphasized that women need to further promote their roles and responsibilities in performing political and professional tasks, while caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers in the area.
