Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union currently monitors and manages 73 grassroots trade unions in Duong Kinh ward and 6 neighboring communes and wards with a total of 6,663 union members. In 2025, the representation and care for union members and workers is being implemented by the Ward Trade Union with greater scale, depth and efficiency. Propaganda and education work is in line with the trend of digital transformation, contributing to spreading information quickly and accurately, raising political and legal awareness for union members and workers. Cultural and sports activities are organized widely associated with major events of the city unit, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among workers and employees.
The ward trade union has closely followed the direction of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation, proactively developing task implementation plans. From the existing shortcomings and limitations, in 2026, Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union will focus highly on 9 tasks, focusing on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions in qualified enterprises, striving to establish at least 2 grassroots trade unions in enterprises; introducing 30-50 or more outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and fostering for admission.
100% of trade union officials are studying and thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the Party Congress, Resolution of the National Front Congress, Resolution of the Trade Union Congress; at least 80% of units and enterprises with trade union organizations meeting the conditions according to the provisions of law negotiate and sign collective labor agreements; at least 85% of grassroots trade unions of enterprises and units outside the state sector participate with employers to promulgate and implement grassroots democracy regulations.
100% of newly elected grassroots trade union presidents are trained and fostered in appropriate forms; 100% of grassroots trade unions that meet the conditions after the grassroots trade union congress establish a Mass Women's Committee according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union...
Also at the program, Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union organized Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026 for union members and workers. On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the City Labor Federation presented 325 bus tickets, worth a total of 64 million VND, to union members far from home to return to their hometowns for Tet; 377 gifts; 214 shopping vouchers, worth a total of 77 million VND... to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area. The total support cost amounted to more than 500 million VND. 25 union members and workers received gifts directly at the program.
