Ms. Phung Thi Ai Nhan - Chairwoman of Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union said: in the first 6 months of 2026, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union has closely followed the leadership of the Labor Federation, the Ward Party Committee and the socio-economic development tasks of the locality, synchronously implemented tasks, and achieved many positive results.
Up to this point, the entire ward is assigned to manage 152 grassroots trade unions with 9,342 union members. The ideological and life situation of union members and workers is basically stable, although still affected by economic fluctuations, prices, digital transformation and housing and job demand.
Trade union levels continue to affirm the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers through dialogue, legal advice, participating in policy making, resolving labor disputes and supporting workers at enterprises.
Caring work has been effectively implemented with many programs such as Tet Sum vay, Trade Union Shelter, Trade Union Bus Trip, Trade Union Meal, organizing union member welfare programs... with a total budget of more than 1.558 billion VND.
Propaganda and education work has been innovated, promoting the application of digital technology, organizing many political, legal, cultural, sports and communication activities in many forms. In particular, coordinating with grassroots trade unions to organize charity programs in Tra Tan commune with a total budget of more than 700 million VND...
Trade union organization building work achieved many positive results. In the first 6 months of the year, 12 new grassroots trade unions were established with 399 union members; 1,726 new union members were developed; 77 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for consideration and admission, of which 7 comrades were honored to join the ranks of the Party; 2 professional training classes were organized for grassroots trade union officials.
In the last 6 months of 2026, the Ward Trade Union will focus on organizing even better emulation movements, especially Good Labor, High Productivity, and Good Income.
Promote activities to care for workers, especially thoroughly survey and firmly grasp the situation of workers suffering from serious illnesses and labor accidents, especially difficult to propose that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor provide long-term support.
Along with that, focus on building strong trade union organizations, striving to complete targets on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions.
