On July 3, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice President of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor (GFF) - said that the unit is arranging and stabilizing the working agencies of 4 newly established ward unions, including: Pleiku Ward Union, Dien Hong, An Phu and Thong Nhat.
These 4 unions manage thousands of union members, workers, grassroots unions and grassroots unions in the area.
According to Ms. Thuy, the Provincial Federation of Labor will work with the Party Committees and People's Committees of the wards to agree on the choice of workplace and receive workers and laborers right at the headquarters of the Ward People's Committee.
"Having a union office working in the ward will facilitate workers to come to report, send petitions or need advice on labor policy, wages, labor relations with business owners...
The headquarters of the People's Committees of wards in the area covers the entire industrial park and industrial cluster, so it is convenient for workers to seek support, advice, and protect their legitimate rights and interests," Ms. Thuy shared.
Currently, the model and organizational structure have changed in the direction of streamlining and efficiency. Trade unions at all levels in Gia Lai province continue to strive for the common goal and task of supporting union members in difficult circumstances to build Trade Union Shelters and Charity Houses.
Trade unions join hands and accompany workers to improve the working environment at factories and companies to become better and more civilized, as well as improve social insurance and health insurance policies.
