This is a content in the plan to organize trade union congresses at all levels towards the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 recently issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation stipulates the number of members of the union executive committee at all levels as follows:
For grassroots trade unions with less than 50 union members electing 3 members, grassroots trade unions with 50 union members to less than 150 union members electing a maximum of 5 members. The number of members of the grassroots union executive committee will increase gradually according to the number of union members, but the maximum is 25 members with a facility with 25,000 or more union members.
For grassroots trade unions that elect a maximum of 15 members, departmental trade unions elect a maximum of 7 members, trade union groups, and trade union groups including group leaders and deputy group leaders (if necessary).
For ward, commune and special-zone trade unions, if there are less than 3,000 union members, a maximum of 13 members will be elected, from 3,000 union members to less than 7,000 union members will be elected to a maximum of 15 members. For ward, commune and special zone trade unions, 25,000 or more union members are elected to a maximum of 25 members.
