At the training session, the reporter of the Law Policy and Labor Relations Department of Hai Phong City Labor Federation informed union officials about some basic contents and new points of the Social Insurance Law 2024 such as expanding the subjects participating in compulsory social insurance; supplementing the regime and budget for "social pension benefits", monthly allowances for employees who are not eligible for pension, employees who are not old enough to receive social pension benefits...
Also at the program, union officials were trained in the implementation of democratic regulations at the workplace according to the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code and related implementing documents. In addition, delegates exchanged, shared and had their practical difficulties in implementing democratic regulations at the unit resolved.
Thereby, helping each union official gain more knowledge, experience, and skills to advise the Party Committee, coordinate expertise to effectively organize conferences of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers to ensure compliance with regulations, contributing to the successful completion of the tasks of each agency, unit, and the tasks of the Union organization.
