On June 23, information from the Nam Nghe An Protection Forest Management Board said that unit leaders and the Trade Union organization visited and encouraged a union member and worker who was injured in the process of participating in forest fire fighting.
Previously, at about 2 pm on June 21, a serious forest fire occurred in plots 2, 3, sub-zone 1019A, belonging to hamlet 1, hamlet 2, Thien Nhan commune, Nghe An province.
Due to intense hot weather and strong winds, the fire quickly spread to sub-area 1018, belonging to Nam Loc hamlet, Van An commune, causing many difficulties for rescue work.

Faced with the urgent situation, officials and employees of the Nam Nghe An Protection Forest Management Board coordinated with functional forces and local people to participate in fighting forest fires.
For more than 2 consecutive days, the unit's forces took turns sticking to the scene, directly opening firebreaks, extinguishing fire points, and preventing the fire from spreading.
By 3:30 am on June 23, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished, contributing to protecting forest resources and limiting damage caused by forest fires.
During the duty, a union member of the unit unfortunately suffered a leg injury and is being treated at Nam Dan Medical Center.
Immediately after the incident occurred, unit leaders and the Trade Union organization of the Southern Nghe An Protection Forest Management Board visited, encouraged, and shared with the injured union members and their families.
Unit leaders acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility, effort, and dedication of officials and employees participating in fighting forest fires in harsh weather conditions and dangerous terrain.
According to the Nam Nghe An Protection Forest Management Board, the image of officials and employees steadfastly sticking to the scene, staying up all night to protect the forest is proof of the spirit of responsibility and dedication to the common task.
