Discussing the experience of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions - one of the activities that achieved many results of the Hanoi Union at all levels - Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - President of the Labor Federation of Phuc Tho district - emphasized that it is necessary to do a good job of taking care of employees, especially in enterprises that do not have a union organization and pay union fees; direct the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of grassroots unions to proactively strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of policies for union members and employees; promptly make recommendations, proposals, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. From there, employees see the role of the union organization and voluntarily apply to join the union organization.
Currently, the Phuc Tho District Labor Federation manages 168 grassroots unions, an increase of 4 grassroots unions compared to 2023, with a total of 5,600 union members.
