HCMC - HCMC Trade Union has received an additional 100 tons of goods of all kinds, currently packaged and prepared to be delivered to support people in flooded areas.

On the afternoon of November 24, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that the unit urgently brought relief goods to people in flood-affected areas.

In Binh Duong province (previously), this morning, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organized a loading-in of a 45-ton container truck and 3 trucks (each truck was 3.5 tons) to bring goods to people facing difficulties due to floods in Lam Dong.

This afternoon, a 45-ton container truck deployed to transport goods to support people in Khanh Hoa province. To date, about 200 tons of goods have been transported to people in flooded areas.

Regarding receipt, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union is currently receiving about 100 tons of additional goods. In total, about 300 tons of goods have been received so far.

The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union is mobilizing volunteers to support loading, classifying and packaging goods. Tonight and tomorrow morning, there will be 3-5 container trucks carrying goods to disadvantaged areas.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union is implementing a donation campaign "Joining hands towards people in flooded areas". The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union has issued a call for grassroots trade unions, enterprises, philanthropists, workers, etc. to donate to support people in flooded areas.

The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organizes 3 points to receive relief goods including: score 1 at the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace - No. 55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ben Thanh Ward; score 2 at 499 Yersin, Thu Dau Mot Ward; score 3 at area A2, Gate No. 2, Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ba Ria Ward. In Binh Duong area alone, on November 23, 200 tons of goods were donated including: clothes, blankets, rice, instant noodles, drinking water, candy, milk, etc.
