The Congress determined that in the new period, it will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, build a strong trade union organization, a team of workers and civil servants with courage, intelligence, and industrial style, making an important contribution to the sustainable development of the common house of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba).
In the 2023 - 2025 term, it shows that the Corporation's Trade Union and trade unions at all levels have promoted their role as a reliable support for workers, accompanying the profession in caring for, ensuring jobs and stable income. In the past 3 years, in general, the employment, salary and income of employees have been relatively stable and have been increasingly improved. Average income next year is always higher than last year, up 12%.
Vinataba Trade Union always promotes its role as a representative and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. 100% of units in the Corporation have developed and implemented the Grassroots Democracy Regulations; regularly organized Workers' conferences, maintained periodic and ad hoc dialogues to listen to and properly resolve workers' recommendations.
Over the past 3 years, the Corporation has organized 60 periodic dialogues and 34 other dialogues, contributing to strengthening trust, enhancing understanding and sharing between employees and enterprises, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Implementing Resolution 07 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the quality of shift meals, 25/25 units in Vinataba ensure shift meals of VND 20,000/meal or more, many units also serve breakfast, night shift meals and soft drinks for workers. 18 units organize collective kitchens, 7 units pay directly to employees, all strictly comply with regulations on food hygiene and safety.
Over the past 5 years, trade unions at all levels have visited and provided difficulties to more than 10,000 cases with a total amount of more than 7.8 billion VND. Vinataba Trade Union and grassroots trade unions all have activities to care for union members and workers in difficult and especially difficult circumstances. The total amount of money that Vinataba Trade Union has spent on taking care of Tet and Workers' Month in the past 3 years is over 1 billion VND.
During the past term, the Corporation had 531 initiatives applied to practical production, bringing a profit value of over VND 36.9 billion, saving production and management costs of over VND 135 billion. Many initiatives have contributed to improving productivity, product quality, affirming the reputation and brand of Vinataba in the market.
In the 2025-2030 term, Vinataba Trade Union proposed three breakthroughs: Improving the effectiveness of the task of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; Building a team of professional, brave, intelligent, enthusiastic and responsible union officials; Innovating the patriotic emulation movement according to the practical and effective motto, combining strengthening propaganda and education work towards the understanding of employees - improving production and business efficiency, benefiting businesses is to ensure stable jobs and increase income for themselves.
