From the beginning of April 2026, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation has developed a plan to organize activities for Workers' Month 2026 associated with the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1st to further affirm the position, role and historical mission of the Vietnamese working class.
Through activities during Workers' Month, promote the concern and responsibility of the entire political system, the business community and the whole society in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of workers and laborers.
Some outstanding programs will be organized by trade unions at all levels in Tuyen Quang province during Workers' Month 2026 such as "May Dialogue" and the Forum "Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Union in the new era"; the program "Thank you to workers" and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Trade unions at all levels will organize the "Labor Skills - Sustainable Employment" Day and the peak month to promote the movement of innovation, digital initiatives, and improve labor productivity; the peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; introducing the development of party members and workers.
Organize synchronous propaganda on the theme of Workers' Month 2026, promptly reflect typical activities, good models, effective ways of doing things, discover and spread typical examples of workers and laborers, creating positive social effects.
In May 2026, Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation will organize visits and support for union members and workers who have suffered from labor accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, and are in difficult circumstances with 600 gifts (each gift including 500,000 VND in cash + 01 gift bag in kind).
Previously, from mid-April 2026, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2026 Union Member and Laborer Football Tournament, opening a series of activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026, which was widely responded to by union members and workers.
According to leaders of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation, through the activities of Workers' Month 2026 to strengthen class solidarity, consolidate the trust and attachment of union members and workers to the Party, State, and Trade Union organization.
At the same time, it will arouse the aspiration to contribute, promote the pioneering role, sense of responsibility, and innovation capacity of union members and workers in labor production, contributing to improving labor productivity, making important contributions to the completion of socio-economic development goals and targets of the sector, localities and the whole country in 2026.
Activities must be practical, focused, key and mainly at the grassroots level to attract union members and workers to participate, taking workers as the center, grassroots trade unions as the foundation for deployment, digital transformation as a tool, and actual effectiveness as a measure.
