The Trade Union and professional department of VNPT Thanh Hoa (VNPT Vietnam, under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology) have just coordinated to organize a training course "Improving knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH) and overhead work safety training in 2026" for infrastructure technicians.
The program aims to strengthen the capacity to ensure safety in the process of deploying and operating telecommunications networks, while updating legal knowledge, standardizing skills and raising awareness of risk prevention in jobs with strict requirements on occupational safety and health.
Within the framework of the course, students are systematically and updated with key contents such as basic knowledge about OSH (policies, laws, dangerous factors and safety culture); risk identification, safety rules when working at height and common accident risks; occupational safety techniques and accident prevention measures; instructions on using and preserving personal protective equipment; along with skills in handling incident situations and initial first aid for high-altitude falls.
The practical part is designed closely to the reality of work, focusing on the contents of emergency response; first aid on the spot when an accident occurs; using seat belts and anti-fall equipment; practicing climbing, moving and working on BTS poles; skills in carrying and transporting materials and equipment on the operating floor. Through this, students are directly trained to improve their capacity and standardize safety skills in labor.
At the end of the training course, trainees participate in assessment tests to ensure a solid grasp of knowledge and skills as required. The activity makes an important contribution to standardizing labor safety procedures, minimizing risks, and improving the quality of telecommunications infrastructure operation at the unit.
The training course not only helps complete the certification conditions for the technical force but also contributes to spreading and building a sustainable labor safety culture throughout the unit, towards a professional, safe and efficient working environment.
