According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), from April 6 to 10, the entire trade union system continued to stabilize its organization and maintain operations at 627 grassroots trade unions and trade unions with more than 174,000 union members.
During the week, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation attended many important conferences at the grassroots level, contributing to the implementation of resolutions, grasping the local situation, and attending the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet celebration meeting organized by the Provincial People's Committee.
At the same time, trade union levels actively implemented organizational and personnel work, including submitting regular salary grade increases for officials, compiling personnel lists to participate as part-time lecturers and nominating personnel for the new term of the Association for Promoting Education.
Inspection work was strengthened when the Inspection Team and the Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee conducted inspections of the compliance with the Vietnam Trade Union Charter at a number of enterprises, ensuring operating in accordance with regulations and efficiency.
Notably, the movement to develop union members achieved positive results when newly admitting 560 union members, establishing 3 grassroots trade unions, and at the same time dissolving 1 and renaming 2 grassroots trade unions according to reality.
In parallel, the Provincial Labor Federation issued many important plans such as launching Workers' Month 2026, organizing Sports Festivals for workers and civil servants, and deploying training on occupational safety and health for grassroots officials.
Financial and propaganda work is also focused on, with the urgency of finalizing trade union financial statements and implementing the propaganda plan for the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term throughout the province.
