In 2025, World Breastfeeding Week will take place from August 1 to 7, with the theme " priorize breastfeeding: Creating a sustainable support system", emphasizing the reduction of inequality in access to health care services for mothers and children.
The special program aims to support breastfeeding in difficult circumstances, ensuring that no mother is abandoned, especially vulnerable women who may need additional support.
This campaign is also important in helping mothers feel less lonely in their journey of raising children with breast milk, thereby minimizing the risk of postpartum depression related to breastfeeding.
At the program, the Nam Phuoc Commune Union and the Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital Union launched a model of an online breast milk consultation line 24/7; at the same time, giving gifts to pregnant female union members.
